The Dutch Waste Management Association (DWMA) represents the national and international interests of waste companies active in the Netherlands. With more than 50 members, the DWMA is an important discussion partner for government departments, regional and local authorities and other organisations.
WDMA keeps abreast of the full range of industrial,
commercial, governmental and public interests relevant to waste
management. They lobby for a healthy and balanced business
climate in the Netherlands and Europe, and promote efficient,
practicable and sustainable waste management. Their head
office is in ’s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, and they have
a European office in Brussels.
Broad representation of the Dutch market
WDMA members are active throughout the whole waste chain,
from waste collection, recycling and processing – including
composting and anaerobic digestion – to waste-to-energy and
landfill operation. Some are active in sewer maintenance. WDMA
members account for about two-thirds of the entire Dutch waste
market.
